Alongside the presentation of the performance Thauma, as part of FIMFA Lx26, from 14 to 16 May at Teatro São Luiz, Magda Puig and Andreu Martínes Costa, artistic directors of the company La Mula, will lead this masterclass designed for professionals and curious minds from all fields. Participants will have the chance to learn more about their working methods and artistic research. The focus will be on creation and visual dramaturgy drawn from the company’s imagery, merging visual and performing arts. A unique opportunity to explore the universe that inspires their work.

BIO La Mula, formed by Magda Puig Torres and Andreu Martínez Costa, is a theater company that works with visual arts, puppets and space. It is interested in perception, its alteration and playful game. Understanding the scene as a space for expression, its work is marked by a plastic theater and research in visual dramaturgy.
Magda Puig is a creator interested in the confluence of performing and visual arts. She was a resident artist at Teatre Lliure and directed the Circo de Inverno do Ateneu Popular 9 Barris.
Andreu Martínez Costa is an actor, puppeteer, director, and stage researcher, working across Catalonia, France, and Canada. He has collaborated with companies such as Philippe Genty, El Conde de Torrefiel, and Plexus Polaire.
